Room Full of Memorabilia: An unidentified Jimi Hendrix fan paid $35,200 for the rock singer’s handwritten lyrics for the song, “Room Full of Mirrors,” at a Sotheby’s auction of rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia in New York on Saturday. The underbidder for the prized Hendrix item was comedian Eddie Murphy, who did pay $19,500 for a 1969 flowered Hendrix headband.
