FULLERTON : Council OKs Hike in Golf Course Fees
- Share via
The City Council has approved a proposal by American Golf Corp. to raise its green fees and rental rates at Fullerton Municipal Golf Course.
The rates cannot go into effect until the Army Corps of Engineers, which owns the land the 18-hole golf course is on, approves them later this month. The last rate increase was in April, 1990.
Basic green fees will be raised to $11.50 on weekdays and to $16 on weekends for 18 holes of golf. Fees for nine holes of golf also will go up.
Susan Hunt, the city’s director of community services, said the course’s fees are well below those at other municipal golf courses in the county. The new rates are scheduled to go into effect on July 1.
