MEXICO CITY — Seventeen people have been found to have cholera, the government newspaper El Nacional said Sunday.
Latin America’s worst cholera epidemic this century broke out in Peru last January and spread to neighboring nations.

The Health Ministry said the disease most likely spread through foreigners who entered Mexico illegally.
