Glusac 3rd at U.S. Junior Track Meet

Fallbrook High’s Milena Glusac, the county champion at 1600 and 3200 meters, finished third in the 3,000 meters Sunday at the U.S. Junior Track and Field Championships in Blaine, Minn.
Glusac, representing the San Diego Track Club, ran a 10:03.66, almost 30 seconds behind winner Michelle LaFleur of SUNY-Cortland.
San Pasqual’s Erin Blunt, the county 100-and-300-meter hurdle champion, finished fifth by running a 61.70 in the 400 hurdles.
In the men’s 200 meters, Keith Green of San Diego City College took fourth with a time of 21.23. On Saturday, Green finished second in the 100 meters with a time of 10.41.
Steve McCormack of San Diego finished fourth in the San Francisco Marathon with a time of 2:21.30. In the women’s race, Suzanne Morris of Leucadia took eighth in 2:48.50.
YACHTING
Brad Hunter’s Bad Headder won the Nacra race of the Coronado Yacht Club’s Summer Regatta. In the Catalina race, Dave Nowak led Double D to a victory over Anthony Lelenak’s TEROB.
