GIMME SHELTER: HomeAid, the Orange County building industry’s effort to provide shelter for the homeless, started slowly (D1) but is picking up steam. . . . Two projects that HomeAid is already committed to in 1992: building the county’s largest shelter for homeless women and their children in Orange and a battered women’s shelter in Santa Ana. HomeAid’s Bob Albertson says: “There is no shortage of projects.”
