Rescue Plan for Los Angeles
Riordan wrote a lucid and accurate account of Los Angeles urban problems, which have escalated in the past 20 years. He offered suggestions that while wholesome are probably unrealistic. It is unlikely that government agencies and organized units of society will voluntarily surrender privilege and authority.
I would suggest as a starter that he agitate for more stringent efforts to control illegal immigrants who overload our social network; and secondly, as an influential member of the bar, he work to restrain the trial lawyers lobby and work to reform the current tort system. Physicians and lawyers would then take less out of the system.
