Israelis and Palestinians

Daoud Kuttab has attempted to create an Arab underdog by using the following misleading examples: Arab East Jerusalem, respect for international law, Israeli aggression cannot be rewarded and the generous Arab offer to end the boycott.
The Arab world continually flouted U.N. resolutions in 1947 by attempting to abort the Jewish state at birth. Thereafter the boycott was but a form of economic genocide which cost the Israeli economy $40 billion.
A war of extermination has been, is being and will be waged against the Jewish state in order to create a Palestinian state free of Jews in the Jewish homeland.
Beneath the rhetoric and half-truths, Kuttab knows a truce made by the Arab world is a temporary ploy to gain ultimate victory. True Arab intentions are shown by George Antonius, the founder of the Arab national movement, in his book “The Arab Awakening”:
“The logic of facts is inexorable. It shows that no room can be made in Palestine for a second nation except by dislodging or exterminating the nation in possession.”
Prime Minister Shamir, by negotiating anything other than peace for peace and refusing to resettle the Palestinians elsewhere, would be sending a signal that the existence of the Jewish state is negotiable.
