Retailers’ Creditors Win More Time: Creditors objecting to a financial disclosure statement from Federated Department Stores Inc. and Allied Stores Corp. won more time to discuss their concerns before voting on the retailers’ plan for emerging from bankruptcy court protection. Lawyers for some of the creditors told U.S. Bankruptcy Judge J. Vincent Aug Jr. in Cincinnati that Federated and Allied provided inconsistent information in their financial projections. The retailers revised the information twice this month, including 140 pages of documents provided to creditors’ lawyers Tuesday night, the lawyers said.
