Slaying Investigated

San Diego police are investigating a homicide that occurred about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at 38th Street and University Avenue.
Police, responding to a call of shots fired, found a body when they arrived, Sgt. Mike Gibbs said. Further information was not available.
