Jean E. Crawford, 84, former owner of FM radio station KMGM (later KCBH) in Beverly Hills, which initially played classical music from the stock of Crawford’s, the family’s music store. The daytime station--one of the most powerful on the West Coast--broadcast operas, Broadway musicals, folk music and a favorite feature, “Concerto From Coldwater Canyon.” After she and her late husband, A. Arthur Crawford, sold the station in the mid-1960s it became KJOI and, in 1990, KXEZ. In Irvine on Monday of the complications of age.
