Edward James Olmos for Governor?

So this is how Olmos presents us to America, the rest of the world and, most important, our children? These are the role models?
The kids are going to see that these are bad people, bad dudes ! Olmos will have glamorized (intended or not) some of the most negative elements in our society. If this film gets out, he will have caused dishonor, betrayal and death to a whole generation of Chicanos.
We Mexicans are not a culture of gangs. But we do, sadly, have a history of sellouts. I and other will be waiting for Olmos’ film in January--with pickets!
