Car Insurance Dilemma
Proposition 103 is a real joke! Three years later the insurance companies, our Legislature and the judicial system are all still dancing around what the people voted for. How can one Superior Court judge decide that the ZIP code is still a factor to set insurance rates, when Proposition 103 restricted that use? One person can change what the people voted for? It’s a joke!
Two million drivers of which 30% don’t have insurance. Simple mathematics tells me the rest of us, the remaining 70%, are paying for that 30%. It’s long overdue for our Legislature to take a realistic view, stop giving way to special-interest groups and provide a low-cost, no-fault insurance program for those who can’t afford the ridiculous cost of insurance.
