Sylmar 14, Canoga Park 2--Sophomore Tyrone Crenshaw rushed for 100 yards in 18 carries and scored a touchdown to lead Sylmar at Canoga Park.
Sylmar (2-1, 1-0) scored all of its points in the first quarter after two fumble recoveries inside the Canoga Park 35. Crenshaw scored on a 10-yard run, and the second touchdown came on a fake field-goal play as holder John Gaitanis threw a 24-yard scoring pass to tight end George Brazil with 1:41 left in the quarter.
Canoga Park (0-3, 0-1) got inside the Sylmar 25 three times but failed to score.
