HOLY COW! South County slow-growth advocate Tom Rogers is a working rancher--and paid the price this week. He was helping deliver a stillborn calf when the cow went wild and fell on him. “This darn big heifer got hold of me and took me apart,” said Rogers, who suffered broken ribs and fingers plus assorted scrapes. “She came unglued, and I’m hurting everywhere.”
