Crescenta Valley 26, Burroughs 12--Junior running back Paul Lopez scored two unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lead the Falcons at Burroughs.
Lopez, who had 59 yards in eight carries, capped a six-play drive two minutes into the fourth quarter with a nine-yard run up the middle. After Crescenta Valley intercepted a halfback-option pass on the ensuing series, Lopez added his second score on a 10-yard run.
Burroughs quarterback Marco Esquivel completed 10 of 27 passes for 173 yards and threw an 11-yard touchdown pass.
