PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Options on Bo Being Weighed

Team executive Al LoCasale said the Raiders are still exploring options regarding Bo Jackson’s roster status.
“I’m not sure we have to do anything,” LoCasale said.
Jackson failed his Raider physical this week because of a hip injury suffered last January.
Greg Aiello, an NFL spokesman, said the Raiders have two choices: The team can release Jackson outright, or they can place him on the team’s physically unable to perform list. By choosing the latter, they would retain Jackson’s rights.
Richard Woods, Jackson’s agent, did not return phone calls Friday.
Coach Art Shell said playing without right guard Max Montoya has been difficult. Montoya is doubtful again for Sunday night’s game against the Seahawks in Seattle, after sitting out the last two games because of a groin injury.
“He’s a key factor in what we do,” Shell said. “We’re playing with tackles at the guard spot.”
