New Schools a Winner of an Idea

Regarding “A Partnership That Benefits Young, Old” (Editorial, Sept. 29): I think it is wonderful what they are doing in Anaheim, building a new school for the young and affordable apartments for the senior citizens.
Considering the financial distress our country is in, I can’t think of anywhere where this would not be cost-effective. In my hometown of Mission Viejo, all the schools (including the elementary, high school, and college levels) have problems with overcrowding. I am at the college level, so I know from my own experiences that adding onto our school or building a new one would be beneficial.
I wish someone in our town would get smart and implement this kind of a plan--where everyone wins!
