Misplaced Glory

As a real estate investor, I read the Real Estate section from front to back because it has some very useful information. However, your front page “Hot Property” column by Ruth Ryon is useless and takes up space that could be used for much more relevant information.
Another objection that I have to this column is that it glorifies a segment of our society that I find totally useless: the grossly overpaid “celebrity” who really has done little to improve our lives, and we are just as well off without him or her. For the type of work they perform, these people’s salaries are completely out of line; to be rewarded for doing basically nothing with the means to purchase million-dollar houses with bowling alleys and shooting galleries on tens of acres, is totally unacceptable.
