Parks Plan Contest in Pumpkin Carving

The San Gabriel Department of Parks and Recreation is sponsoring its annual pumpkin carving contest for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Pumpkins will be judged on Wednesday at Coolidge, Dewey, McKinley, Marshall, Madison, Washington, Roosevelt and Wilson schools.
First-place finishers will advance to the city finals Thursday.
