A fight between rival gangs led to the stabbing of a 23-year-old man in North Park early Saturday, police said.
A brawl involving about 10 men broke out in the 3800 block of Polk Avenue about 1:35 a.m., with Dimitri Contreras suffering multiple abdominal stab wounds, a San Diego police spokesman said.
Contreras was listed in serious condition at Sharp Memorial Hospital on Saturday.
Police are looking for two to three men believed to be responsible for the stabbing.
