L.A. Baptist 14, Western Christian 0--The game at Monroe High was scoreless until the fourth quarter when L.A. Baptist senior quarterback Dane Brown broke a 43-yard scoring run on an option play. Brown added a 64-yard run on another option play for another touchdown eight minutes later and ran in the two-point conversion.

Brown rushed for 124 yards but completed only three of nine passes for 28 yards with two interceptions. L.A. Baptist (5-2, 2-0) held Western Christian (2-5, 0-2) to 115 yards.
