THOUSAND OAKS : No Clues Found in Search for Woman
- Share via
Authorities on Saturday resumed a search in Malibu Creek State Park for a missing Thousand Oaks woman but found no new clues to her disappearance.
Nancy Lorraine Huter, 36, was last seen March 3 at a fast-food restaurant in Canoga Park. Her white Honda Accord hatchback was found last week in the park, and a park employee saw her walking from the car, said county Sheriff’s Deputy Ernie Montagna.
Last weekend, searchers found a pair of Huter’s boots in the creek, but they called off the search when nothing else turned up. They resumed the search Saturday because the water level of the creek had dropped about four feet, Montagna said. But after six hours of combing 10 square miles, authorities found nothing, Montagna said. He said no further search of the park is planned unless a new clue turns up.
