Two men were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery Wednesday after they fled with $2,086 from a Security Pacific Bank, police said.
Thomas Adam Zarney, 38, described as a transient, entered the bank in the 200 block of South Beach Boulevard shortly before 12:30 p.m., showed a gun to a teller and gave her a note demanding money, Lt. John Buccholz said.
He ran out to a waiting car driven by Richard Vincent Ledoux, 47, of Carson, Buccholz said.
Officers stopped them a quarter of a mile north of the bank.
The men are being held in lieu of $25,000 bail each, officials said.
