No Benefit for M.S. Patients

I have had multiple sclerosis for 28 years and am in the same position as Anita, the woman portrayed by Lesley Ann Warren in “In Sickness and in Health” (CBS). I was outraged that Ms. Warren said in TV Times (Focus, March 8) that the movie creates hope for M.S. patients.
With a husband who has an affair, a daughter criticizing her, and the patient winding up in a board and care home, the film creates no hope for the real M.S. patient who watched this movie.
Let’s do a movie about someone who uses the tools that are offered in the community to help others. That creates hope.
