ANTELOPE VALLEY : County Approves Highway Widening
- Share via
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved an agreement with the state that clears the way for widening of the Pearblossom Highway.
The agreement calls for the two governments to split the estimated $2.7-million cost of turning the highway into a four-lane road with a two-way left-turn lane from 106th Street East to 121st Street East in the Antelope Valley.
The county is to advertise, award and administer the construction contract, while the state is to provide permits for encroachment into state highway rights of way.
