A Call for Facts From Candidates
It is time to stop the feuding. When the politicians do not treat their opponents as worthy adversaries, they show voters disrespect.
We are capable of sound judgment. Please give us facts, not innuendoes. Spend your time and money addressing the issues. Educate us on your positions and how you will represent us if elected.
Candidates were recently asked if they felt that the negative campaigning would adversely affect voter turnout. No one felt their own ads would. But the fact is, most voters do not rush out to vote for the lesser of two evils.
We need candidates of reason and vision to lead us. That alone will inspire what this nation needs most: broad voter participation.
