As the Grand Old Party gathered in Houston on Monday, Democrats threw parties of their own in California. As part of a statewide effort from San Diego to San Francisco, Orange County’s four Democratic campaign offices held open houses.
Local Democratic officials and volunteers for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign gathered at the party’s headquarters, 824 N. Broadway in Santa Ana. Similar parties took place at Clinton field offices at 6074 Warner Ave. in Huntington Beach; 725 Tustin Ave. in Orange; and 27261 La Paz Road, Suite L, in Laguna Niguel.
