Michael Waltrip passed Dale Jarrett five laps from the end and went on to win the Gatorade 200 Busch Grand National stock car race at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, S.C.
Waltrip earned his fifth Grand National victory, and his first since June of 1990, at Dover, Del. He drove his Pontiac across the finish line a half-second ahead of Jarrett’s Chevrolet.
