They lost 10 in a row at the end of the 1991 season and are a convincing 0-1 in 1992. The Rams get the New England Patriots at Anaheim Stadium on Sunday and, if they don’t win, the streak could easily extend to 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, even 18 in a row.
After Sunday’s game, they play at Miami, play host to the New York Jets, travel to San Francisco and New Orleans, then play host to the New York Giants before finishing the first half of the season at Atlanta. The Rams have not played either the Dolphins or Jets in the last two years, but their two-season record against the other four teams at those sites is 1-6.

Even before the Bills made a first down or his offense had touched the ball, Coach Chuck Knox had an inkling Sunday might be a long day.
The Bills were forced to punt after their first possession and Buffalo’s Steve Tasker, who has been the in three of the last four Pro Bowls as the AFC’s special-team specialist, drilled punt returner Vernon Turner just as he caught the ball.
“We have Tasker doubled on the punt, and we also send a protector back there, so we’ve got three guys on him,” Knox said. “Vernon Turner did a heck of a job just hanging onto the ball.
“When you put three guys on one and he still goes back there and makes the big hit . . . that’s the way it was.”
