CANOGA PARK : Fire Destroys Mobile Home

A fire in Canoga Park leveled a mobile home Thursday and damaged a valuable collection of books and antiques, authorities said.
The fire in the 8800 block of Canoga Avenue started at 10:37 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Paul Gutierrez said.
About 15 firefighters extinguished the blaze in 20 minutes. The fire caused $60,000 damage to the mobile home and $80,000 damage to its contents, Gutierrez said.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause was under investigation.
