FIGHTING CRIME: Los Angeles police on Tuesday will hold a forum on crime prevention, with ex-offenders explaining how they once operated as car thieves, burglars or dope dealers. The program begins at 7 p.m. at Church on the Way, 14800 Sherman Way in Van Nuys.
