SAN YSIDRO : Crash Into Wall Kills Motorcyclist

A motorcyclist died after he veered off the road in San Ysidro and smashed into a cement wall, authorities said.
The victim’s identity was not released pending notification of relatives, a San Diego police spokesman said. The victim was pronounced dead about 5 p.m. at the scene in the 1500 block of Smythe Avenue, said Lt. Tom Orden. The motorcycle had been earlier reported as stolen, Orden said.
