FOUNTAIN VALLEY : Council Candidates to Field Questions

The four candidates running for City Council are scheduled to answer questions from the public at a forum at the Fountain Valley Community Center on Oct. 14.
Sponsored by the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce, the 7 p.m. event will be moderated by Charles Wilson, chairman of the chamber’s government affairs committee.
Wilson said residents may submit written questions before the event to the chamber or hand them in on the night of the forum.
Incumbents include Mayor James D. Petrikin, 52, and George B. Scott, 59, both businessmen. Challengers are Dan Hoppy, 46, a businessman and Robert M. Hoxsie, 37, also a businessman.
