Beverly Hills : Tree Ordinance Extended

A temporary ordinance that regulates what trees may be cut down was extended for a year at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
The interim measure prohibits residents and businesses from removing or destroying stands of trees and any single tree that is 30 inches or larger in circumference without a permit.
The commission will discuss a draft of a permanent ordinance at its Oct. 28 meeting.
