HUNTINGTON BEACH : Schools’ Bike Rodeo to Encourage Safety

Children attending elementary schools in the Huntington Beach City School District will participate in a Bicycle Rodeo today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the campus of Huntington Beach High School.
The rodeo is part of a children’s program to encourage bicycle safety, including the wearing of helmets while bike riding.
The Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, in association with the Huntington Beach City School District Parent Assns., is sponsoring the safety program.
The rodeo is free to children in the school district.
The course for the rodeo was designed by the Automobile Club of Southern California.
Children attending can have their bicycles safety-inspected without charge. There also will be a show by a bicycle stunt team at 1 p.m.
Huntington Beach High School is at 1905 Main St.
