Sylmar 55, El Camino Real 0--Sylmar (2-0) scored on its first six possessions and overwhelmed El Camino Real in the Spartans’ home opener.
Three Sylmar backs rushed for more than 100 yards. Tyrone Crenshaw had 159 yards in 14 carries, Ibn Bilal had 115 yards in seven carries, and Gabriel Rodriguez finished with 113 yards in 10 carries. Each scored two touchdowns, including a 53-yard run by Bilal.
El Camino Real (0-3) managed only 158 yards. Quarterback Ryan Venturine completed three of 16 for 16 yards and had one interception.
