Beamer Catches 2 Scoring Passes to Propel Brea

BREA — Chris Beamer caught two touchdown passes as Brea-Olinda defeated visiting Troy, 29-7, in front of 2,300 in a nonleague game Friday night.
On the Wildcats’ first possession, quarterback Paul Chiotti hit Beamer for a 69-yard score down the sideline.
Later in the half, they hooked up again on an 18-yard strike across the middle.
The scoring plays were the only two catches of the game for the junior wide receiver.
Brea-Olinda (2-1) was led by senior running back Sean Bickel, who ran for 130 yards in 17 carries, while Chiotti connected on four of 11 passes for 108 yards.
The Warriors (0-3) were led by sophomore fullback Larry Vasquez, who ran for 93 yards in 16 carries and scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter.
The Wildcats finished the evening with 324 total yards on offense. Troy had 253 yards.
