Downey 33, Bell Gardens 8--Jahi Arnold scored four touchdowns to lead Downey to a nonleague win over previously unbeaten Bell Gardens.
Arnold’s scores included a 76-yard interception return and a 75-yard run after a fake punt. Downey’s defense held Bell Gardens to 99 total yards. German Chavez ran 58 yards in 17 carries for Bell Gardens and scored the team’s lone touchdown.
