CLAIREMONT : Father Found Dead; Son, 18, Arrested

A Clairemont man was found stabbed to death by police SWAT officers who broke into his home and arrested his 18-year-old son on suspicion of murder.
The body of Robert Wayne Hauseur, 48, was found Friday in the 4500 block of Mt. Lindsey Place at 7:20 p.m., said County Medical Examiner’s investigator Dan Matticks. Hauseur died after being beaten and stabbed, Matticks said.
Matthew Hauseur, 18, was arrested after being subdued by officers. The younger Hauseur allegedly threatened paramedics who were called to the residence earlier in the evening, a police spokesman said. Police said Hauseur was wrestling with his father at the time, and may have been armed.
Hauseur was taken to a local hospital for observation, and later booked into County Men’s Jail downtown.
