Antelope Valley 27, Chaffey 3--The Marauders opened Foothill Conference play with a convincing win at Antelope Valley College.
Antelope Valley held the Panthers to 52 total yards. Chaffey gained only six yards in 37 carries.
Meanwhile, the Marauders rolled up 320 yards. Wide receiver Lamart Cooper scored touchdowns on a 71-yard punt return in the second quarter and a 52-yard reception. He gained 41 yards in four carries.
Sophomore running backs Al Dawkins and Tony Simmons combined to rush for 139 yards.
