Saddleback Upsets OCC in Women’s Volleyball

COSTA MESA —  Elaini Kollias had 16 kills, including six in the deciding game, to help Saddleback to an 11-15, 9-15, 15-11, 15-7, 18-16 upset of Orange Coast in an Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball match Wednesday at OCC.

At match point in the fifth game, freshman setter Yumi Yamazaki, who had 12 kills and 32 assists, sent a kill down the line, giving the fifth-place Gauchos (5-10, 3-6) the victory. Orange Coast (7-2) is in second place.
