EDS Sells 3% Stake in Enron: Electronic Data Systems has sold its 3% stake in Enron Corp., a Houston-based natural gas company. The 3.5 million shares of common stock were sold through Goldman Sachs & Co. at $47 a share, or $164.5 million in total. EDS, a computer consulting and services firm, acquired the stake this summer for $42.70 a share, or $149.5 million, an Enron official said. Although EDS sold its entire stake, it will continue to have an operating relationship with Enron. EDS, a subsidiary of General Motors Corp., was once owned by Texas billionaire Ross Perot.
