OAKLAND ANYONE? From John Wayne Airport, you can fly to places such as San Jose, Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco and Sacramento. But if you wanted to fly directly to Oakland, you had to find another airport. Until now, that is. . . . Beginning Jan. 5, Alaska Airlines will have flights between Oakland and John Wayne. It will offer three round-trips daily on MD-80s and Boeing 737s.
