It seems now that our California National Guard were neither trained nor ready for the Los Angeles riots. This parallels the poor initial response from the Los Angeles Police Department during the riots (Dec. 3). Now we are told that there may be a major earthquake in our area sooner than prior predictions and to expect no governmental assistance for at least 72 hours.
I would hate to imagine our country being invaded by a hostile foreign force and having to rely on the same inept government leaders who promise us everything but seldom deliver.
