Sax player Kenny G continues to astound with his huge record sales. His latest album, “Breathless,” is No. 2 on the pop chart. Most albums filled with this kind of pop/jazz instrumentals are lucky to sell 75,000 copies and never even make the Billboard Top 200. But after two months in release, “Breathless” is already over a million. One of the fastest-rising new albums on the chart is “Lose Control,” by the R&B; group Silk. It jumped from No. 95 to 57. Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” is still the top pop single.
* The new album by the “Heavster,” one of the most popular pop rappers, entered at No. 48 and may jump into the Top 20 next week.
