AST Research Names Gerald Devlin to New Position of VP for U.S. Sales

Gerald T. Devlin has been chosen for the newly created position of vice president, U.S. sales, at computer company AST Research Inc. in Irvine. He was formerly vice president and general manager of Apple Computer Inc.’s western operations. During his 12 years at Apple, Devlin was also director of sales, corporate director of sales support, managing director of two manufacturing sites in Ireland and corporate director of international procurement.
