PERMANENT GUESTS? The folks on the Newport Beach City Council had better get used to seeing activists from the National Organization for Women. . . . The group’s leaders plan to be at every council meeting until all sexual harassment issues at the city’s beleaguered Police Department are resolved. “We’re absolutely committed to this case,” says the group’s Lisa McClanahan, who wants the city to take swifter action in eliminating harassment. . . . City officials say they’re doing all they can.
