Harrick Under Fire: Critics Cite Loss to Cal, Others See Big Picture

We are UCLA alumni and longtime season ticket-holders who want to express our support for Coach Harrick at this time when too many fair-weather alumni are turning against him. Not only has he consistently had winning seasons and taken the teams to national playoffs, he is a man who cares about his players. How many coaches have seen such a high percentage of their players on the academic honor roll?

Yes, we were disappointed at last Sunday’s loss, but as one announcer said: “Not even John Wooden could compile John Wooden’s record today.” Let’s get real and give this good and capable man the support he and his players deserve.
