Los Angeles-based Angeles Corp. has named William E. Tuthill president and chief executive of the company. Prior to the appointment, Tuthill was president and chief executive of Angeles Housing Concepts Inc., a subsidiary of Angeles.
Marshall S. Geller, a director of Angeles who is unaffiliated with the company, was elected chairman.
Tuthill succeeds Carroll D. Vinson, who has resigned as president, chief executive and a director of the firm. Vinson was retained by the company in such capacities on Feb. 15, 1993, to assist in the restructuring of major obligations.
