Card Club’s Impact on Cypress: Cause for Worry or Not to Worry

The Los Alamitos Race Track is proposing to build a 24-hour card club in Cypress. The major factor for my moving to Cypress was that the city was family-oriented.
Placing a card club in our bedroom community is exactly what we do not need. Crime, traffic and the other factors associated with a card club go completely against the reasons why most of us moved here.
Card clubs belong in industrial communities, if they belong at all.
The fact that this is even going to be on the June ballot is an insult to my intelligence. Residential communities need to unite against big money attaining all that it desires.
Keep our residential community as it is, and keep all card clubs out of Cypress.
